These AI capabilities were introduced at the SuiteWorld conference in Las Vegas, alongside a new procurement solution and a Salesforce connector. With these innovations, NetSuite continues to reshape how businesses integrate AI for business operations, leveraging automation to streamline processes and enhance decision-making. NetSuite’s unique approach ensures AI is embedded directly into existing workflows, allowing companies to adopt these tools seamlessly.

Evan Goldberg, Oracle NetSuite’s founder and executive vice president, emphasized this strategy, stating:

“We are embedding AI-powered capabilities across the suite so customers benefit from them as soon as they log in. By ensuring AI is built into existing processes, we help customers achieve immediate value from the latest AI innovations — without additional costs.”

AI’s Role in NetSuite’s Growth

Unlike many AI companies that charge separately for premium AI features, Oracle NetSuite is taking a different approach by integrating new AI tools at no extra cost. Scott Bickley, research practice lead at Info-Tech Research Group, notes that this strategy mirrors what Workday has done—allowing users to experience AI before committing to further investments.

“NetSuite customers have the opportunity to try before they buy,” Bickley explained.

However, he predicts that Oracle may eventually monetize these AI capabilities through pricing adjustments. Potential strategies could include reducing renewal discounts or requiring customers to upgrade to premium plans, like NetSuite Enterprise, once they become reliant on these tools.

Despite speculation about future pricing, an Oracle representative confirmed that AI features in NetSuite remain embedded and will not result in increased subscription costs. This approach reflects Oracle’s confidence in new artificial intelligence solutions, ensuring businesses can adopt AI help without financial barriers.

Enhancing Productivity with AI

NetSuite is expanding its AI for business capabilities through several key updates:

  • SuiteProject Pro (formerly NetSuite OpenAir) now integrates AI-powered risk analysis, project planning acceleration, and resource matching.
  • SuiteScript & Prompt Studio introduce developer tools that allow customers to integrate AI capabilities within their NetSuite extensions.
  • A modern UX overhaul is underway, featuring Oracle’s RedWood Design System, which powers NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management and Analytics Warehouse.

The UX updates will first launch on SuiteProjects Pro and Customer 360, introducing:

  • A refreshed interface
  •  Role-based task lists
  • Enhanced global search
  • A homepage with key KPIs and analytics

To support customers through these changes, Oracle is rolling out NetSuite Guided Learning Managed Service, offering customized AI help and expert coaching from NetSuite Education specialists.
